CVinten was established in 2019 as a way to keep track of Charlie’s University work at De Montfort in Leicester, under the name CVinten Craft. Then, by the end of her third year, this developed into a brand and she was exhibiting and selling glass sculptures and jewellery at various locations around the UK. As the brand grew into glass based work and away from craft in general, CVinten Craft became CVinten. 

 

CVinten creates blown glass sculptures and vases with an infused flowers technique she developed through University then makes recycled glass jewellery with the excess colour which can no longer be used. This enables Charlie to make use of glass which would otherwise be unused and create a sustainable collection of glass jewellery. 

 

Since the start of her journey at University, Charlie has taken a number of classes in the UK, Venice and Murano to further improve her skills and eventually setting up her own studio. Here, she has started lampworking glass in her studio and constructing her own jewellery collections. 

 

Each delivery is packaged with the highest level of safety in mind to ensure your pieces of glass jewellery or home decor arrive safely to your home. All packaging used has either been recycled previously, is reused, repurposed, or is biodegradable - and will be clear in your delivery where the packaging has come from and how best to recycle/reuse in order to continue the eco-friendly cycle. 

 

She has joined the Contemporary Glass Society and has exhibited many times with the society, as well as creating an Artsthread portfolio to exhibit with New Designers. Charlie has also been approached by a number of online stores including Jewel Street, where she became a member of their retailer site in 2022.
